One of the Great Volumes of Western Literature 22 Oct 2013
By K. Lane - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Viktor Rydberg developed a brilliant method of studying and understanding the formulation of the great epic of the Teutonic peoples. Many people who try to discount these works normally do so in defense of mainstream scholarship. These sycophants rarely can argue against Rydberg's points, or even his main thesis, they simply argue that those in their deified intelligentsia did not approve of it, so it must be useless. Why should we care what they think? Read the book, see the logic in Rydberg's conclusions, then make up your own mind. Simple as that. Now Rydberg was not correct in every instant, but what writer is? The fact is, his work will continue to allow studies into this field move forward, even if they are not sanctioned by the academic elite.

Incomprehensible 11 Dec 2012
By vmhutch - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
Incomprehensible. Gobblygook logic. Great leaps to conclusions with scant evidence. Don't bother. Read Europe Between the Oceans: 9000 BC to AD 1000 by Barry Cunliffe, instead.
