Synopsis
Tessa at sixteen, is pretty, but terribly shy and under-confident. Her best friend Matty is much more popular, not to mention more successful with boys. Tessa loves roaming the local parkland and often goes there for walks with the family dog. When developers threaten to destroy this, for the first time in her life Tessa decides to make a stand and joins a demonstration. There she meets Wolfie. She's seen him at school and he is well-known as a local activist. He is incredibly kind and helpful to her, and gradually as they find they have a lot in common, they fall deeply in love. Because Wolfie believes in her, Tessa's confidence grows and she finds herself supporting Matty and no longer hiding what she really feels. But just when things couldn't be working out better, tragedy strikes...

A great read!,

Picked it up at a friends house and couldn't put it down, decided to buy it on amazon and as soon as I recieved it started reading from where I left off. I couldn't put it down, the style and rollercoaster of situations makes it a very compelling and emotional read. I found myself smiling and laughing, and sometimes blushing when something embarrasing comes up, I even cried. As it is written in first person you really get a feel for what is going on, I managed to finish all 188 pages the day it came through the post. A must read for any teenage girl. Kate Le Vann's first book is definetely a great sucess and I can't for Loving Danny to come out this month!

WOW this book was just amazing. It follows the romance of two teens who might not look perfect but their romance blossoms until... The book is brilliant , I couldn't put it down at all.. it even made me cry which must mean it is pretty good to have such an effect! Its a must read for all you teens out there ! So buy it and read it fast!

wow,OH MY GOD. This book was absolutely AMAZING!! I'm a teen of the age of 14 and at school i'm trying to get ALL my friends to read this book. I don't usually cry at anything from books to movies but when i read this i actually CRIED. I read 'Tessa in love' in about 3 hours, maybe 4 and i just couldn't put it down. It's amazing how the author could have wrote such an happy but sad book. I definatly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Melissa x
