5.0 out of 5 stars Calendar 2009, 25 Dec 2008

Great. Every month will be a treat. The artwork grasps the intricate characters in Pratchett's novels and brings them out into the limelight. You need only look at the cover, with the Nac Mac Feegle practically accosting you, to know what I mean. Crivens!

5.0 out of 5 stars Planning on back dating your collection?, 20 Mar 2010

This review is from: Terry Pratchett's Discworld Collectors' Edition Calendar 2009 (Calendar Collectors Edition) (Calendar)
I had this calandar last year and greatly enjoyed the artwork as each new month came along. But now in 2010 the only reason to purchase this would be to add it to your collection. And it is definately worth buying, especcially looking at the way the prices for these back issues keep going up and up.

I'm aware that it is no longer useful for you to know that there is a good amount of daily writing space available, and that the durability is greatly improved upon from the previous years calandar, but I thought I'd add that in just in case.

As for the important thing: the artwork, it's great. Definately up to standard, with a couple of months that are perfect for framing. With the 2008 calandar I felt that a couple of the months were a bit of a let down, but there were others so fantastic it made up for that. With this 2009 edition, I would have to say that the artwork is consistently above average with no particularly stand out months. As such I have awarded 09 a full five stars, but 08 remains my favourite.
