This book is full of pictures showing almost the full range of Terry Frost's prodigious output over a long life. The written texts are relatively short, but enormously informative without degenerating into art speak or criticism, but seem full of genuine affection and appreciation for the man and his art. The greater part of the book, more than 3 quarters, is full of examples of his best work. Few artbooks resist the temptation to fill the pages with turgid essays that mean little to the actual practice of art: this book resists admirably and is immeasurably better for it. I agonised over the price, but am entirely pleased that I bought it as it is worth every penny paid. Anyone interested in Frost's work should buy this book if they can afford it; you won't be disappointed.
