Book Description

6 Dec 2010 Mythical 9th Division
Long, long ago, an underwater archaeologist discovered an ancient and powerful jewel buried deep in the waters of the Pacific Ocean – the Stone of the Sea. Many years later, the same archaeologist, Christian Krall, has used the stone to bring every mythical sea creature on the planet under his control. Now he is plotting to destroy the world from his watery lair off the east coast of Australia. With the Mermen of the Mythical 3rd Division out of action, it falls to the Mythical 9th to stop Krall from creating the biggest tsunami the world has ever seen – a tsunami big enough to obliterate the Earth.

Book Description

The yetis of the Mythical 9th Division are back in a hair-raising Antipodean adventure.

About the Author

Alex Milway has always enjoyed making up stories and, after leaving art college, he discovered that he liked to write and illustrate them as well. His interest in furry creatures first reared its head in the Mousehunter trilogy, where weird and wonderful mice ran riot all over the world. In the Mythical 9th Division, the fur quota got even bigger, as he had to master the art of drawing a troop of yetis whose main purpose was to save the world. Alex is now a full-time author-illustrator, who suffers from furballs and works from his home in London.

4.0 out of 5 stars great boys read 8 Mar 2011

Format:Paperback
The yetis are my favorite Milway books, The cartoons at the start of each chapter are integral to the story and really get you into the plot. The yowies and other characters were great. They work as the key ones are distinct personalities. Lots of action, brave insane goodies and BAD baddies.Love it.
