This sound card will operate fine in Windows Vista 32 Bit version. I chose this card because there was some problems with the creative cards, and I dont regret it.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Just about OK.
I bought this for the optical S/PDIF output which as lacking on the mobo, however the digital output configuration only offers 48Khz, so all lossless CD rips are resampled.
Does support WASAPI in Vista with a 48Khz stream, I used foorbar2000 to resample lossless rips.
Device driver hasn't been updated since 2007, which speaks for itself I'd say.
All in all, the Realtek on the mobo was better.

A good all round sound card, complete with a small control panel application that would work well with an analogue set up. unfortunatley I was looking for a card capable of outputting 5.1 via the TOSlink optical cable to my surround system, this card does not allow for such a function. Still it fixed the buzzing I was getting from my mobo sound card. I'd also recommend downloading the latest (2007) drivers from Terratec.
