Maybe it's the problem that I only have an icebox and not a big freezer, but these things don't really get that cold. They definitely do not chill a drink properly. Also the bag that they come in is not handy for the freezer as it gets stuck all the time.

These are great.
Though I don't think they're ever as cold as ice cubes, they do hold their temperature for a long time, and they don't water down the liquid. Best of all, there's no discernible taste from them.
Although advertised as whisky stones, these are great for any drink at all.

Nice !
Ideal for small liquid quantity (or bigger if you put more than 1 stone), doesn't chill too much the whisky (just what's needed) and no taste alteration perceptible.
Be careful not to put too much whisky on one stone, the cooling power is still less than a ice cube.

A great way to cool your drink
. I enjoy a glass of whiskey neat but when you add ice cubes they quickly start to melt and I end up leaving the whiskey at the bottom of my glass as it has become watery. Read more
