Review

"Foster's writing style here is much more gritty and no-nonsense. Staccato sentences and down-to-earth dialogue keep the action moving quickly and maintain the suspenseful, all-or-nothing tone." --School Library Journal

I read this book in several hours it was really easy and a enjoyable read. After seeing the trailers for the movie it was easy to picture what I was reading. The story is solid, the action is fluid and has purpose. People have mentioned that the movie doesn't have much character development and this frahcise has most of the character developement done in the previous installments. From reading the book it adds credability back the the series as a serious movie about an impending holocaust caused by the machines and Skynet and you really feel you are part of the resistance battling along. Yes I am a fan of the series and mythology and I really hope that the movie will be as great as the book. Recommend if you are Terminator fan if not don't bother as you wont get it without seeing the other movies.

One of the things that is different is Marcus Wright, whose last memory was being excuted by the state. Who is Wright and what danger does he pose to John Conner? What is to be come of Kyle Reese, the boy who will be Conner's father?

The "Terminator" (BFI Modern Classics) Like the movie but a little more in depth, like most movie novels are, but also as a little more to the final.
