I've been a Kokia fan ever since I heard her splendid voice on the ending theme to the anime "Brain Powerd", and this CD-single made me love her even more. Kokia's first album "Songbird" was a beautiful collection of pop/acoustic magic, and Kokia lives up to the album's title, she does sound like a beautiful bird singing. "Tenshi"("Angel") (which I swear I heard playing in an American ad last year) is a gorgeous pop love ballad, projecting a feeling of warmth and a little melancholy. I can imagine an angel singing that, it's very atmospheric. The second track, "Whisper" is a nice pop tune that just as pretty as the first. I promise you, once you hear her singing, you will not be able to stop ourself from putting the CD on "repeat". If you think J-POP's nothing but cutesy love songs, then this songstress will prove you wrong!
