The itouch Easy TENS unit offers relief from a wide range of pain: knee pain, shoulder pain, back pain and from a wide range of other causes. Nice guidelines for the osteo arthritis and rhematoid arthritis recommend TENS as part of a pain management plan. NHS Direct includes TENS as a pain relief option for back pain, frozen shoulder, period pain osteoporosis, and spondylitis. Itouch Easy is a simple to use and effective dual channel TENS machine with comfortable output, gentle control, and an extra choice of settings. The itouch Easy is an advanced digital TENS unit with 8 pre-set Medically proven programmes. It has a pad alarm, a one touch memory start which remembers and returns to the last settings. Comfort Strength control which monitors skin and pad condition to ensure that the stimulation remains constant, linked to intensity steps of 0.5 mA for added comfort. The itouch Easy has a unique single plug connection for both channels, simplifying lead connection and management during use. The itouch Plus has a two year warranty.
Everybody suffers from pain at some stage of their lives, but not everybody wants to tackle it by taking endless drugs and experiencing invasive surgical procedures. An effective, powerful alternative is the medically-approved electrotherapy known as TENS.
TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It consists of a small unit, attached to the body via electrode pads, through which a harmless electrical signal is passed. The sensation is not painful or unpleasant, and can be likened to “pins and needles”, or even gentle massage. This signal triggers the nerve endings, activating the pain gate and boosting the release of endorphins. The pain gate effectively stops pain signals from reaching the brain, whilst endorphins are the body’s own natural defensive mechanism to ease pain.
TENS is used by physiotherapists, doctors and midwives, as well as individual patients with varying degrees of pain. In the past, TENS units were clunky, stationary, expensive and difficult to adjust. Modern advancements in TENS research means that TensCare are able to provide you with convenient, inexpensive, hospital-strength technology to use in the comfort of your own home.
The nature of this product means that, unlike many pharmaceutical alternatives, it can be used constantly with no threat of overdose, addiction or unwanted side-effects.

I ordered this product after suffering with severe back pain for a good 6/7 weeks and all I can say is WOW, I used the machine for around 5/6 hours for the first day and when I took the pads off I couldn't believe how good I felt, completely pain free (a bit numb but that wears off). I used it again the second day and thats been it, absolutely brilliant.

Wow, a product that does just what it says on the tin! Easy to set to work, clear instructions and a surprising amount of power from such a small machine. It is easily carried with a cradle that fits on a belt, waistband or pocket and once the pads are fitted it is comfortable to wear. If fitting the pads to your back or out of the way places ask for help as positioning is important. Surprising amount of pain relief which, as an active squash player, is an absolute bargain - as is this machine.

My dad has been suffering from frozen shoulder for about a year now, and nothing seemed to work. I was thinking of a christmas present to buy him and found this on the internet, i orderd it but was a little unsure about what it does. However my dad has been using it for about 3 weeks now and says it helps. It does not stop the pain but works the muscle which is something my dad did not always find the time to do (as working the muscle is ment to eventually help.) He says it does become a little annoying at times but nothing compared to the pain he has had from frozen shoulder! He arm has certainly improved with using this machine, he sometimes gets pain afterwards but he would do with the excersises the physio had given him, as they say no pain to gain! This is deffo something to think of if you suffer from frozen shoulder!

Excellent pain killer

Very impressed
