Product Description

The Burn shorts have a unique mix of Ballistic Nylon and Neoprene to make them into an extremely maneuverable and hard wearing downhill/trail short.

Two zipped pockets ensure that whatever you take out on your ride comes back with you.

More info:

Twin waist adjusters, a button closed fly, and a stretch panel in the crotch allow for an optimum fit.

Although they are designed for downhill, the addition of a padded liner can turn these into an aggressive all day short.

The shorts have a nice design, are warm due to the mesh liner, fairly waterproof and have padding in all the right places. I have used them extensively in plenty of different conditions, including sub-zero night rides and pretty hot sunny days and they were just fine all round. I do use them with some padded undershorts, but this is probably only really necessary for days when you are on the bike for six plus hours. The price tag is also very reasonable for the quality, you would normally be paying twice that for a pair of enduras or equivalent.

For the small price I paid these shorts are pretty good quality, they keep the rain and wind out, are comfortable to ride in and have a couple of pockets to keep keys etc in.

I might warn others of the sizing, I originally went with a LARGE based on one of the other reviews claiming they are a 37 inch waist and Large fits them. I'm a 36 and they were far too tight around the waist and crotch. I'd recommend you go a size up as they have adjustable straps to tighten them if needs be.

For those that have commented on them being too warm for summer ride, If you live in England you'll be fine for the 2 days of summer we get each year !

I have had more expensive MTB shorts which were very good but costly, I took a punt on these because of the cost and I also thought the styling was good. They don't disappoint and the use of technical, quick drying fabrics only serves to make them comfortable while riding and unlike other manmade fabrics these are quiet when on the move.
The high back ensures you're covered when in position and the side adjusters work very well. These shorts are true to size, XL fits my 36-38" waist perfectly with adjustment either way.

Very pleased with my purchase!

Really good quality fabric and water resistant. The way they do up is annoying as they zip to the top and then button over which can be lethal. However, a good quality product it is the 2nd time i have purchased these shorts as they are so hardwearing.

I thought these were a bit snug on first wear - I normally find I've an inch to spare, but these fit perfectly.

They're really well made - and ride nice and high on my lumbar. Going back to my other baggy shorts I realised I normally have a gap between my top and waistband. The extra couple of inches of coverage really helps when wearing a backplate too. They've got a nice inner webbing and a second internal lining, though I suspect that they're going to be too warm for summer use.

Looks great, good low price and feel like really hard wearing material, however, I purchased the extra large (36-38 inch) and they came very small, I am a 36 inch waist on a good day and a 38 on a very fat day, and these were really difficult to put on let alone do up, took quite a lot of strength to do up and it's shows how good the pressstud button was to hold up and not undo itself! I checked the label and the size was correct but I'd say they wear closer to a 34"!! I suppose I can use the smaller size as a target to aim for!

Size Name: Medium / 32-34W
Purchased these shorts and found them to be way to small even though im a size 32 and ordered a medium....

After contacting about an exchange got a reply stating facts I already new (the item has to be in original packaging etc) but no address or anything and after having to hunt for this myself. It costs you to exchange item anyway.

Not going to bother as shorts are cheaply made and not really for cycling more just casual shorts. No padding at all.

Nice comfy shorts well stitched and quality fabrics, like the air vent style material where you sit as weather proof materials can lead to trapping body heat. Fast delivery and im a 36" waist and ordered the XXL as others recommended. They are designed to allow your legs to move freely when cycling, as not yet worn on cycle can't tell if this is a reality but looks good so far. I think they should last a few seasons.
