Just the right size to pack into a small space and with more than enough information for a week's holiday. Contact details are up-to-date and we were able to ring a number before embarking on a walk from Adeje to be told that repair work was ongoing and the area was inaccessible. Worth the cost of the book just for that.

Great guide. I followed the suggested car tour and it was spectacular. Please remember to put petrol before going in the Anaga mountains as there are no petrol stations. We managed to buy petrol by liter from a local man. I am used to the layout of the AA guides (having used them on many of my european travels)and I am an active traveller (prefer outdoor then museums tours) and the book provides great itinerary ideas, maps and grades attractions as "must see" or "at your leisure". I highly recommend this guide for travelers who want to explore any given location by foot and by car.

Handy little book
Did have the previous edition but this is much more informative and very handy size to take out and about with you.

Good overview
Gives a quick overview, and the possibility to get into more details afterwards. The map doesn't seem to detailed, - that remains to be seen at the destination shortly. Read more

great, could do with more detailed maps though
think it's a great little guide with items on top locations to see in tenerife. the price guide is also a good idea because it allows for budgeting and preparation. Read more

Tenerife 2011
A small book for a small island which covers all of the Canaries. Informative but I hope there is more to do and see than detailed in this tome.

Why spend a few hundred quid on a holiday and not buy a guide?
