... why music this good is not the subject of constant, daily national debate - played to babies in the womb, used to replace the national anthem, part of the curriculum...People of the world WAKE UP! Format:Audio CD
The New Mastersounds were first brought to my attention in an interview I read featuring Steve White - drummer with Paul Weller.

Check them out on-line, as there are lots of vids of them live, to get an idea of how great they are as a band.

This album is tight, taut and super funky. My whole family was dancing to the beat.

Fine grooves and fine musicianship - would recommend to fans of JTQ, BNH, Jamiroquai, Booker T, The Meters etc.

NMS never fail to deliver, pure musical pleasure, production is kept tight yet minimal which allows the free flowing vibes to sore to the next level, the Funky Four piece set the benchmark and represents Leeds on the Global Music Map for sure. Recommended.
