Product Description

Product Description

This explosive book reveals the conspiracy between British Military Intelligence and the gunman of the UDA who targeted and killed both Republican terrorists and ordinary Catholics.

The secret partnership was sanctioned at the highest level of the British government and full details of planned operations, including killings, were passed directly to its Joint Intelligence Committee in London.

Ten-Thirty-Three was the codename given to the agent who was fed with all the details necessary for Loyalist gunmen to carry out their murderous activities. But somewhere along the line the power went to Ten-Thirty-Three’s head and he became increasingly unpredictable. It wasn’t long before he was completely out of control, and his Military Intelligence bosses had the makings of a major catastrophe on their hands…

This extraordinary true story lifts the lid on shocking abuses of power in Belfast in the 1980s and 1990s.

Format:Paperback
This book would have made an interesting three page article in LOADED magazine but anybody with the most basic knowledge of the conflict in Ulster will cringe at the endless mistakes in the detail of this book such as suggesting that Ian Gow MP was killed by a car bomb in central London etc etc.

The half page introduction doesn't provide any plausible background to the research methods and source material employed and to that degree it is virtually impossible to make a constructive value judgement on this material...

A very misleading book 29 April 2011
By nallac
Format:Paperback
This book although on a very serious subject has some very serious misleading errors both in content and stated facts. Anyone involved in security matters in Northern Ireland will have ultimately thrown this book in the bin. How anyone could believe the contents is beyond me.

Format:Paperback
I made the mistake of dis-believing the previous reviews, about inaccurate information. I now know the book is quite literally a waste of paper. Fortunately, I borrowed mine from the library and it will be one book that is worth losing to save any other readers the misery of fiction (and to quell the amount of ridiculous stories about the troubles)
