Expansive yet intimate, grown-up yet powerfully vulnerable, Andrea Corr’s new album ‘Lifelines’ is a huge artistic step forward for the multi platinum selling Irish singer.
To some she’s an international stadium filling pop singer. To others she’s a global performer drawn from a distinctly… Read more in Amazon's Andrea Corr Store

I am a Corrs fan without having bought one of their records as I was fascinated and attracted by Andrea's persona and voice - she has understated sizzling. This album is first rate and, like most, takes a few listens to appreciate the choice and the song's musical structures. A real eclectic mix. Andrea's version of "Take me I'm yours" is excellent and I suggest, better than the original - a rare feat. The fact that she has written such a mix of music is a testament in itself. I have the album on continuous play on my car CD - until the next album.

I love the music of the Corrs - especially the Borrowed Heaven CD released some time ago. That is our family's favourite and during a trip to Canada a few years ago it was the most played in our car's CD. The kids got sick of it, but I never do. Andrea's solo album entitled "Ten Feet High" is very similar in style. I only received this a couple of days ago, and already I have played it about 6 times. I particularly love tracks 3, 4 and 5. The melodies just keep on going round my head. If you love Corrs music, then go ahead and buy this CD, you will not be disappointed. I love it and gladly give it a five star rating.

Andrea Corr is clearly one of the classiest women in the music industry at the moment and she has a beautiful and pure voice. It therefore came as a shock to me to see that this album has not fared well in the charts today. Any Corrs fans should be buying this wonderful new album:
1.Hello Boys- Certainly not what you expect, but a great funky opening track. 8/10
2.Anybody There- A brilliant contrasting follow-up track. 9/10
3.Shame On You- The first single. Fantastic! 10/10
4.I Do- A melodic and beautifully simple track. Gorgeous. 10/10
5.Ten Feet High-It's brilliant when you listen to it, but not as catchy as some of the other tracks. 8/10
6.Champagne From A Straw- Fun, light-hearted and genius. 10/10
7.24 Hours- Another brilliant, brilliant track. 10/10
8.This Is What It's All About- The style of this song doesn't really fit with the rest of the album- it's not bad though. 7/10
9.Take Me I'm Yours- A superb cover. 9/10
10.Stupidest Girl In The World- A fairly forgettable track. 7/10
11.Ideal World- Back to her best with this simple ditty. 9/10
12.Shame On You (Radio Edit)- Personally I prefer this radio edit to the actual track. 10/10

My only criticism of this very listenable album is that it's too short. I just hope that Andrea gets to make a second solo album and that record executives don't simply drop her because of one poorly selling record. BUY IT!!!

Pretty Poor
I love the Corrs, all their albums & Andrea's voice but this solo album is below average and that's putting it mildly. I honestly can't think of anything that redeems it. Read more
