* Although I enjoyed this series I would have to say that this book was my least favorite. I gave the first 2 books 5 stars but I couldn't give this book more then 3 1/2 stars. Up until page 300 something they didn't even like each other & Jessa was treated like a whore & she was basically repulsed by Noah. I don't care that she was keeping secrets Noah shouldn't have demanded her to be his whore. It was just sickening. I don't understand how Jessa could turn from being so used & shamed to falling in love with him. It would've taken a lot more for me. Although I wasn't too thrilled with this book I'd still recommend this series. Book #1 Crystal Passion, Book #2 Seaswept Abandon & Book #3 Tempting Torment. Also please note there is a very short story included in this book that is more or less a 4th book in this series. It's only like 50 pages but it was really good.

Part of a trilogy on the McClellan family, you'll love the characters and the dialogue. Jo Goodman never fails to deliver.
5.0 out of 5 stars love it 1 Oct 2009

This was my first book by this author. I just loved it! I actually listened to it on Tape. The English accent of the narrator (Jill Tanner) makes it all the more enjoyable. I strongly disagree that it was boring in the middle. I found the sea passage to be the most interesting part. I hope the other books in the trilogy are as good!
