easy set-up, 19 April 2010
This review is from: Temporary Instant Blind
I purchased this blind to shut the sun out in early summer. It is easy to set up with CARE.
The blind is made of a marble type stiff white paper, which,if handled CAREFULLY should last for some time.
Don't attach the blind to a painted surface, plastic is better.
Finally don't be alarmed when the blind arrives as the the packaging in sending this blind can be difficult as the packaging can look damaged on arrival.
REMEMBER,TREAT WITH CARE.

Temporary Instant Blinds, 12 Sep 2010

I do reccommend these temporary blinds. It really is as easy as 1,2,3.
I have bought it for my consevatory, which is a bit dated and for the time being I have used these instant binds to make it look fresh and a bit modern. It is affordable and practical for temporary use at home.

Simple and effective but a bit overpriced, 23 Jun 2010

Yes, it took just a few minutes to take it out and stick it up, the concertina folds drop down and you peg them to the level you want. One thing I like very much is the look of the blind: it is in offwhite slightly marbled paper which lets in a soft light (and keeps out the sun's heat) The effect is neat and unobtrusive, especially in a light coloured window frame - do not be put off by the photo, which does it no favours.
The trouble is, I baulk at paying nearly half the cost of a permanent blind for a piece of quite flimsy folded paper with a couple of clothes pegs and a sticky strip. When it was shown on Dragon's Den, the price was way lower, and I would have bought several more if it had cost less. So I mark it down quite heavily for that reason.
Tip: when you are cutting it to size, measure it when it is closed up tight - run your pencil quickly down the ribs and then stretch it out. This gives you a (dotted) line ready to cut. OK, a bit obvious...
