Detective Jay Jensen (Ken Olin) investigates the brutal murder of Stacey Eckhart, a young mother who has been having an affair with the husband of a respected socialite, Faith Kelsey (Cybill Shepherd).

When the police follow up all the possible leads, they discover that Faith is a woman without a conscience. She's capable of seducing cops, manipulating her lovers - and planning the most cold-blooded of murders. She is a woman who will stop at nothing to get equal with those who betray her and she always gets what she wants.

When Jensen confronts Faith with evidence that will put her away for a long time, she remains cool. She knows that by hiring an assassin to do all her dirty work she has distanced herself from the crime itself.When the man she hired to kill Stacey Eckhart is faced with execution, Faith Kelsey escapes to Canada, then to Spain, leaving Jensen questioning both his professional judgement and his married life as he falls under her powerful spell.

I found this true crime story so good that I watched it again the next day. It is a complex murder investigation for the police because the person who is responsible for the murder is very good at getting others to do the job.
