This book provides an excellent introduction to the world of Television Technical Operations. It is well-written and crammed full of all the information needed by anyone seriously considering a career in TV. Without a doubt, this book should be on the mandatory reading list of every Media degree course. Read it over and over until you fully understand it and you will be well placed to get that job in TV you want. Put it in your CV.

This is an excellent refresher for Broadcast Engineers and a great way for non-technical people to understand the limitations of current TV technology. As an added bonus, it is very well written and was published by a company with a superb portfolio in this field.
