Product Description

Product Description

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are having trouble waking up, so Noo-noo takes their blankets away... naughty Noo-noo! They eat a tower of Tubby toast and then it's time for Tubby sponges... wash, wash, wash. The Teletubbies play special games and make Tubby custard. But the custard machine won't stop... uh oh! Much too much Tubby custard! Then it's time to go to sleep and the Teletubbies take their favourite things to bed... time for Tubby bye bye! And when the magic windmill turns, the Teletubbies can see children waking up, going to school and having a very busy day too.

From Amazon.co.uk

In Teletubbies, Busy Day Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po giggle and romp their way through a day filled with Tubby toast, laughter and play. This video has the usual Tubby mix of music, repetition and movement, designed to stimulate children's imaginations, promote speech and increase confidence. Our young reviewers needed little encouragement to join in with the action on screen and when the voice trumpet called out parts of the body for the Tubbies to wash, they had plenty of time to think of the answer, shout it at the screen and perform the actions.

All the familiar features of the series are here: reliable Noo-noo who cleans up when Po encounters difficulty with the Tubby custard machine, the gurgling sun and lots and lots of rabbits; and when the magic windmill turns, real children are shown having a busy day too, cleaning their teeth, going for a walk and getting ready for bed.

Teletubbies, Busy Day is another delightful glimpse of life in Teletubby land that toddlers will want to see again and again and again... --Helen Baker

Running time: 71 minutes approximately.

There is something even younger babies love about the Teletubbies - probably the squealing, giggling sun baby. My daughter is now 18 months and fetches it from her video basket on a daily basis, only to be glued to it for the duration. She joins in and sings and giggles. Seeing other children doing every-day things like brushing their teeth and their hair makes her want to do the same (which can't be bad)!
I thoroughly recommend this to any parent of a pre-school child - it keeps everybody happy!

The Teletubbies - what can be said - with my 20 month old daughter I just have to pop this video in and yet get over an hour's peace. She interacts with them, dances when they dance and sings to any song - perfect edu-tainment.
