‘Found a Way’ is a great opener after the introduction, as not only everyone recognises and relates with Drake and Josh but it has a catchy rhythm in order to pick it up almost immediately if you haven’t seen the programme. I love ‘Somehow’ I only had to listen to the CD twice before I knew the chorus. The way the verses and chorus have very different sounds you don’t expect to get what you do. The end part with the circus like tune again shows how varied the rhythms can be in one song and shows Drake’s amazing piano skills. ‘Don’t Preach’ shows another side to Drake’s skill with a real rocky edge and yet you can still understand the words, unlike many ‘rockers’!hehe! Golden Days has a very different feel and where you can see inspiration from those like the Beatles has contributed to Drake’s song writing. After recently purchasing Drake and Josh Go Hollywood it’s great to see Drake’s music effectively used in the film, as well as the comic series including, ‘Down We Fall’ and ‘Highway to Nowhere’. Most of the songs on the CD are fast so it was nice to have ‘Telegraph’ at the end, with a jazzy feel with the piano part at the beginning. I liked the way the CD was broken up by the short intro and ‘The Backhouse’. I’ve never seen any of these on a CD before, so although unusual it works to divide the songs, but rather than having a break of silence there’s noise and you can ponder over what’s to happen next. I had no idea what I was really getting when I bought ‘Telegraph’, but if you enjoy all sorts of music and are any age you’ll thoroughly enjoy it.Truely unique!
