New Resist Interior Coating with Top Coat
Bonding layer – for maximum conductivity.

Durabase technology – provides efficient heat distribution.
Thermo-spot – Tefal’s unique heat indicator lets you know when your pan is pre-heated to the right temperature to seal the flavour in your food.
Tefal owes its origins to a Frenchman, Marc Grégoire, and his wife, Colette. M. Grégoire, a keen fisherman, wanted to make his rod reel in more smoothly and, in the 1950's, experimented to see if a non stick coating might provide the answer. It did! But it was his wife who made the real breakthrough by gently suggesting that coating the cooking pans would have a more worthwhile application by making them easier to cook with and simpler to clean. Great, hard wearing set of pans. Had them for years and still use them regularly. The tefal non stick is very handy and has probably saved me on many occasions. Ideal for making pancakes!

We have a larger version of these pans that I bought after my mum recommended them to me. You put the pan on the heat and wait until the pattern on the red spot fades to know when the pan is heated through. These pans are SO easy to clean. Our other ones had the coating peeling off and rusting but these come up a treat with little effort.
This set was bought as our big pan was a bit big for making omlettes and with them being in a deal which is, frankly, excellent value for money we didn't hesitate to "add to basket". The 24cm holds an omlette perfectly, while the 20cm can cope with a chopped portobello mushroom with enough room to swoosh it around the pan.
It is worth knowing that the size of the pan is it's complete diameter, not the flat bottom part diameter.

Bought these pans to replace quite old heavy pans. At first thought they were a bit light by comparson. Have now used them a while and like them, would recommend these for value and quality.

A superb set of frying pans. There is a red dot in the middle which indicates when the temperature is right. They are easy to clean.

Great non-stick pans
