The Tefal Superglide FV3680 steam iron boasts 2200 watts, a 95g/min shot of steam, along with 0-35g/min variable steam. The FV3680 offers vertical steam, for easily de-creasing hanging garments such as suit and dresses, and even curtains. The steam output of an iron is indicated in grams per minute (g/min), so the higher the output, the more steam is generated to tackle creases. And the more powerful the iron, the deeper steam will penetrate fabric for quicker, hassle-free ironing and excellent results, no matter the fabric. The FV3680 features Tefal's Ultraglide ceramic soleplate for superior glideability, scratch resistance and steam distribution. Tefal has also responded to customer feedback and designed a refilling station at the front of the iron which offers not only added safety, but an ultra-fast four-second refill. The iron has an extra wide heel for convenient cord storage, and added stability and safety. It is also anti scale, a three metre cord and a convenient 270ml water tank.

We are very pleased with this iron. I didn't think we needed a new iron as our other one had done us proud for many years. However, we bought a massive new ironing board and decided to buy a new iron too. I'm glad we did. The steam/spray features are very effective and simple to use and the plates glide very nicely over clothes without burning or scorching. We have had this iron for a good few months now and haven't had a single problem with it. Our old iron was always burning and clogging. It's a lot bigger than our old one too and I love purple, so it's win/win all round!
