With its drum storage, all the attachments are stored uniquely on the appliance, so they never get misplaced. The cord storage makes Fresh Express easy to store on your kitchen. It is compact and easy to use. The clever design allows a bowl or plate to be placed directly under the chute for easy collection, and all the removable parts can go in the dishwasher for quick clean-up. For safe use, Fresh Express operates only when you press a button. Because the blades on the different attachment are facing outwards, there is no chance of hurting your fingers. 5 different cones to slice, shred & grate
Thin Slicing : Slice vegetables and fruit like courgettes, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, coconuts, cabbage, apples, onions or your can even use it for cheese like cheddar.
Fine shredding : Grate your vegetables like carrots, courgettes, swede, turnip, cucumber or else firm cheese and chocolate.
Coarse shredding : Cut thicker shavings of vegetables like carrots, courgettes, peppers, cheddar, potatoes or even chocolate.
Thick slicing : Slice thick pieces vegetables and fruit like apples, turnip, onions, cabbage, or cheddar.

There is nothing bad about this as a machine, it slices grates is well made, easy to use and easy to clean. There is a nice big feed tube so that cucumbers are no trouble to slice. Cheese grates well without clogging and for storage all of the slicers/graters neatly stack in place so everything is in one place and you do not need to search to find where you put an accessory. The only thing to watch is that it throws the gratings/slices out with considerable force so you need to put a big bowl under the grater and make sure it is close to the machine or you end up with a worktop covered with gratings.
EDIT: If this had been a car it would have been recalled as there is now a new version called the "Fresh Express Plus" and the only difference is the longer neck which prevents the gratings being thrown so far. So make sure you buy the plus model rather than this one.

I have only had this for a few days, but got some extensive use out of the Fresh Express this weekend. If like me, slicing onions usually ends up with you teary-eyed and sponsored by Elastoplast then this electric machine could be for you.
I've found it useful thus far for slicing mushrooms, courgettes, cucumber (for my girlfriend you understand) and carrots and parsnips for a casserole. I have used the grater to grate carrots (which the machine does easily) which will mean that future Bolognese dishes will contain less pieces of finger than they used to when I was grating carrots by hand.
The machine looks great and all the attachments store on the machine when not in use. Everything comes apart quickly and easily for washing up unlike some of my other food processors. All in all a very useful purchase.

I have only used this a couple of times, but am delighted with it. I had been looking for some kind of electric grater, without success, and was about to buy a compact food processor - but I have had a food processor in the past, and always found them a bit of a pain, especially to clean. I have a jug blender and a hand blender, so just wanted something for grating and slicing - I know these can be done by hand, but grating carrots with a handheld grater is not my favourite thing... This is a brilliant machine - well designed, so that it is easy to use and very easy to clean. I have only used one of the attachments so far, but there are five - three graters and two slicers, with different degrees of fineness. It is nicely made, feels sturdy, and is fun with the different coloured attachments. It is fairly compact, and the power cord retracts into the back of the machine, which is great - only the plug stays outside. It is heavy enough to be stable when using it, but light enough to store away and lift out when needed. Time will tell - but I have yet to find any faults with it. A great addition to my kitchen, for making salads and grating cheese with no effort and minimal fuss.
