The Evidence range has a thermo-conductive base, which features anti-abrasion copper speckles for excellent heat distribution and outstanding results.
The 26cm grill pan is suitable for use on all hobs, except induction, and features stay cool bakelite handles. The stay-cool handles give the pan added versatility, enabling it to be used in the oven up to 180 degrees. The pan is dishwasher safe for added convenience.
The Evidence range features Tefal's Expert Pro non-stick interior, a six-layer advanced coating combining a new ceramic hard base, which acts as a strong protective layer with very high resistance to scratches and abrasions. Engineered to be used with metal utensils, the combination of the layers ensures high performance and easy cleaning. The non-stick is covered by a lifetime guarantee.
The pans have an enamel exterior, for durability and easy cleaning.
Every pan in the range also features the Thermo Spot, for better cooking control.
Thermo Spot is Tefal's unique heat indicator, which glows solid red to let you know when your pan is pre-heated to 200 degrees, the optimum temperature to start cooking.
With the Thermo Spot, there's no risk of the pan overheating or underheating. It enables you to sear your food at just the right temperature to seal in the flavour, in the same way a professional chef would.

Excellent square steak pan!,

Square grill pan with the raised gridles and thermo-spot, orange bottom (maybe copper ?). I really like the non stick coating, so easy to clean. Alluminium pans have better thermo-conductivity and coherence than cast iron. Made in France.
