Don't buy it. I threw my first one away because it would only grip the can for half of every turn. It would open the can but would take twice as long as it should take. I assumed it was just a manufacturing glitch and bought another one as I have had good experiences with Tefal products. Unfortunately, this one too has the exact same problem & now I am looking for another make.

Blade struggles with cans after a few months. Plastic handles flex under pressure, which make it even harder to use. Looking for a new one now.

My friend in the states has asked me to buy a load of these to bring over when I visit -as she says it is the best can opener she has ever used!
She only has the use of one arm and says this can opener is brilliant & she can use it with one arm with no trouble.
