Was delivered promptly but the item was not as I expected - much smaller that I anticipated and the rubber comes off very easily and gets very stained. My daughter prefers cheaper teething toys that I have bought her.

For an expensive teething toy in expensive packaging I expected this to be pretty good. However my baby isn't that into this. He grips it by the handles and then has a hard time getting any of the rest of it in his mouth because if he's holding it with two hands there isn't much left to put in your mouth. For this reason I don't think it's a very good design and I can't see what all of the fuss is about. I've since bought him several teething toys and rings from Boots for half the price which have been far superior. Over priced and poor design.

I bought this having heard all the hype about the Sophie teething products for my 12 week old baby boy, not because he was teething, but to try and stop him keep sticking his fingers down his throat! Even at his tender age he's able to hold onto it and manipulate parts of it into his mouth, and so far so good. He loves a good chew on the giraffe head! Ideal for young teethers but feel that for any child approaching six months or more the original Sophie may be a better option. This one is small and very soft, just perfect for very small hands and young babies. Would recemmomend.
