Not so much a conventional horror as black, vaguely feminist comedy. Your enjoyment of the film will depend on whether you own a penis or not. If so, be prepared to squirm whilst laughing at the sheer OTT scenes of detached little sausages. There's also a subtle satire on US sexual abstinence cults - though the aforementioned scenes are enough to put anybody off.
It's a great idea and there a theme of suppressed female sexuality running throughout, but there's really nowhere you can go with it once you get over the initial shock. Consequently, the film kind of peters out and we are left with Dawn as the avenging angel against sexual predators everywhere.
It's not a film that everybody will get but it deserves to be watched if only for the quirky and wonderfully tasteless premise.
