Product Description

Product Description

Tees shows the work of 80 of the most creative t-shirt designers around the world. The book asks revealing questions of the creators, including what their inspirations are, whether they wear their own designs, the printing techniques they use, how they work and more, to reveal a complete picture of their approach to t-shirt making. Designs are included from t-shirt studios that exclusively make t-shirts and from established designers who also produce t-shirts as a sideline. Most sell their shirts online and in-store while a few create more experimental work just for personal use. Contact details for purchases are given. With photographs of the designers wearing their own work, numerous artworks, and many different styles and themes, Tees reflects what is going on in t-shirt land today. A special limited edition is also available with a t-shirt featuring a unique collage of designs provided by artists in the book, at £30.00. Large - 9781856696395 Small - 9781856696388

Awesome Book! 22 Mar 2011
By James A. Miller - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book provides excellent visuals for how t-shirts are being designed today and perhaps how other designers can take it steps further. An in-depth review on the artists and how they design provides an insight on the creative process. Unlike other mediums in design the creative process is just a piece of the puzzle, yet here garment selection, printing or dye processes, 4-color vs. spot colors, etc become just as important. Great read with interesting details to the community of graphic t-shirt design.
Waste of money 11 Jan 2012

I was expecting this book to provide some insights to what and how other designers are doing across the world. I have my own shop and I print designs for a lot of local artists who have amazing skills and imagination. I can go online and find countless t shirt web sites with good designs, I thought this was going to be something worthwhile and productive. Nothing but net when it hit the trash half an hour after it was delivered
