Album Of The Year 4 July 2005
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This album, which was produced by Terry Date, not Terry Richardson as the Amazon review states, is the album of the year!
There's not a bad track on this album, I cannot find a fault in it, which I have done with previous A albums. All of these tracks are single worthy. It's impossible to pick a favourite track because they are all so good! Rush Song is a proper rock tune! Better Off with Him and Someone Else are the catchy sing a long tracks of the album, The Art Of Making Sense and Second Coming are beyond anything A could have ever done
I would recommend this album to people who have previously been put off A, this album will change your opinion of them forever!

Hi Fi Delirious 3 Aug 2005
Format:Audio CD
This is a great album with all the highpoints you'd expect from A. Blazing riffs, uplifting choruses, melodies that stick in your head and a live sound that pays homage to the gods of rock.

Unlike a lot of rock bands, there are no cheesy moment in this album, just good solid songs, some pop genius, too, and the performances on this album are up there with the best I have heard all year. It sounds like the band is working hard without trying. I would rate this better than the new Foo Fighters album (and I LOVED that).

If there's a brass razoo in your pocket, find out what exchange rate for the razoo is worth, then buy this album.

Having already heard Monkey Kong and Hi Fi Serious and loving both i was optimistic about this one but ever so slightly worried that maybe they'd mess with the winning formula and screw up this album. These fears were very quickly brushed aside as soon as i put it in my CD player with the explosive opening song 'Rush Song', followed by the extremely fun and 'Cant help but sing along' track 'Better off with Him'. With such brilliant lyrics in tracks like 'Someone Else', the fantastic guitar riffage of 'Rush Song' and the uplifting 'Hey' its hard to find fault with this album and even harder to not love it!!! You may think that A have gone a bit 'Pop Rocky' in this album and certain songs do have this element, but its still got the A sheen to it with soaring lyrics, smashing guitars and general craziness in every song...it is well worth buying, get it now!!!
