As soon as you receive the case you will notice that is very similar to Apple's iPad2 Smart Cover. It has the same folding system that turns off the iPad as you close it. But this one is better because it also protects the back of your iPad2. The Apple case has magnets on the side that attach the case to the iPad2 but leaves the back totally unprotected. You can easily scratch the back of the iPad2 because the Apple case does not offer any protection to the back. The TeckNet Case does not need the strip of magnets on the side making it a lighter case. The iPad2 fits nicely inside the case. The case has all the openings for the WiFi and 3G version, so there is no need to remove from the case ever. All things considered I would recommend this case over the Apple case.

Received the case cover and looked very good. Plastic back cover looked better quality than what I had expected and fits the iPad2 vey snugly. I had expected the plastic moulding to be rough around the edges like with cheap mass produced cases, but it fits seamless around the case. The front magnetic cover also fits good.
This would have been a perfect product apart from 2 little niggles that I have with it.
1) There seem to be 2 hairline cracks already (after 1 week) around the edge of the plastic back cover. One has split the thin section above the power switch. I don't expect the case to ever fall off, but it is an imperfection.
2) The front magnetic cover only attaches to the edge furthest from the spine of the cover and does not affix on either of the shorter edges. This allows the magnetic cover to bulge out along its middle section. I do not know if this is a similar problem faced with the official product, but it is slightly ugly.
Also, get one with a lighter shade as the black one becomes grey from dust very easily.

I originally bought the Smart Cover from Apple. Not fan of the Smart Cover. Leaves the back exposed and I don't like the cool, metal feel of the native case. I wanted something that didn't add bulk or size, yet offered the fold-up stand simplicity. i had to replace it within 2 weeks with this magnificent TeckNet Smart case.
This smart case protects the front and back, fits snug, neat design, & holds iPad 2 up in landscape mode... At this price, it really CAN compete with the simple Apple Smartcover in protecting the iPad2's front and serving as a stand
