Mine arrived today. And looking at this page, the product has been updated ("new functions" such as clock and stuff apparently). That is a little annoying, but oh well!

Right, well, what can I say, other than this thing is great. Tried it on my CRAPPY car stereo this evening and works suprisingly well. In my Dads newer Vectra, the sound is obviously much richer, as the stereo in it is ACE.

I would reccomend this product as a cheap solution, to avoid buying a new car stereo. Its not perfect, (i don't think it transmits in Stereo FM, although this new version might do, check with company if its that important to you), but its very very good. You'd think it would be very hissy and tinny, but its only hissy if you pick an already occupied station, and its got a good depth for the sound.

So yeah, got a tenner to spare? Get THIS!

I bought this so I could listen to my ipod through my car speakers. Initially I was really pleased with the product, although as others have reviewed, it does produce a high pitch whistle in the background.

After a few months I found the sound would come out of only one speaker or would be muffled. I had to tap the transmitter to get rid of the interference. Thinking this was just a faulty item I went ahead an ordered another. The new transmitter didn't last even half as long as the first and produced the same problems.

I have now bought the iStuff AutoScan FM Transmitter, which I am really pleased with. Very good sound.

For £5 I would say that this porduct was worth it. Howerver the company then charged £6.98 postage which is just crazy considering its size and they sent it second class. In a letter they blame Amazon postage regulations for this. The build quality is what you would expect from a basically reverse engineedred Chinese copy of the Belkin Tuncast.

The product performs fine however I don't expect to last for a long time. A £5 bargain perhaps, a £12 dissapointment.

Sure it transmits the sound to a fm radio but the quality is so poor you can only hear a muffled unclear sound which crackles a lot. I have tested it on 3 different radios and they all sound rubbish when you try and turn the volume up above a conversation level volume.

Get it if you want a gimmick that works and you dont mind playing the music quietly.

I honestly didn't think this gizmo would be as good as it is - it does exactly what it says on the box - it's so simple to install that I had my MP3 player blasting tunes through my car audio within minutes of unpacking it. I just can't praise it highly enough and for £4.95 +P&P must be one of the best bargains on amazon. Buy it you will not be disappointed :-)

I bought the item hoping to use it in the car and not have to purchase a replacement Car Hifi. At first the item seemed a great idea, but let me down with Sound Quality. There is a permanent hissing noise when using in the car.

Even though they recommend that the volume is turned down on the mp3 device this didn't help, it just meant that I could not hear the Music at all.

A good idea, but could do with improving the quality.
