5.0 out of 5 stars Great lightweight - powerful light 25 April 2010
We have had this light for about a month and it works great. We use this light at our cabin as over all room lighting with the light sitting high on a shelf.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good sound, rubbish menu! 22 Jan 2010
By Dave B
Had one of these for over a year, for use at the gym/out running and the sound quality is very good. I have found this device to be robust and reliable too.

My only real gripe is that the menu (and associated graphics) is rubbish - I found it very tricky to navigate from folder to folder and invariably ended up just listening to the tracks / albums in the order I loaded them on (which was fairly straightforward). This may be due to me being dim ;-) but the instructions didn't help either! I also found them confusing when it came to charging the thing, btw!

It may not seem like a big deal but being virtually unable to select what album I wanted to listen to at any given time has proved to be a show-stoper for me and I'm going try a different MP3 player.

In the interests of fairness, I should emphasise that I bought mine over a year ago and they may have improved the software/firmware since then - hopefully someone who has purchased recently will be able to comment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for Price....it if works! 26 Nov 2009
Excellent little player, that looks good as the back of it is shiney silver. Can't find any fault with it to be honest, for the price its a good quality item. If your looking for a cheaper option to an Ipod then go for this or something similar.
Really easy to download music and photos on to it, ear phones that are supplied with it are not great so would definately advise to buy a decent pair as the sound is really good. The screen is a decent size and very clear. Only thing i would say is no manual supplied, but if you've had MP3 players before you don't really need one as its easy to use. The battery life also seems pretty good, not timed exactly how long it lasts but I don't need to charge every day, and I do use it pretty much every day for at least an hour.
Read through the reviews beore I bought it and was abit cautious, but it does everything i'm looking for (I use for music)and for the price not sure what else people expect it to do!.
All in all if your after a fairly inexpensive player that has a good memory size (and expandable memory slot), then I would reccommend this one.

UPDATE!!!
I'm sorry to say I should have paid more attention to the reviews listed for the 2gb version....my player has stopped working properly after 2 days. The screen keeps freezing and will not allow me to scroll down through the albums (or do anything at all), only way to correct it is to turn off and start again. Yes have only paid £30 but still expect it to do the basics!. Still dealing with customer services to get a refund, as would rather pay abit more and get something else.
Hope this review helps!.
