It is cheap and on the face of it fairly simple to use. The top button is the one which switches to music, radio, etc, and also selects which music folder. Only thing is it is quite fiddly and takes a bit of time to get used to -eg if you are in music and want to listen to a different folder (rather than track), you have to go back two steps to where it says music (if you go back one step it gives you the option to repeat the track or folder)and then go forwards - it will then try to play the same thing, so then you go back AGAIN, so it shows up "local" for the other music, and THEN you go forward. confusing. Once you get used to this quirk, its not too bad. Just means a few more seconds delay. If there's a simpler way, I haven't yet found one!

Also when you make a folder with various tracks (as opposed to entering a full album), it doesn't matter what order you put the tracks in - it will put them in its own order (always the same). Not sure why - and the guy I spoke to on the helpdesk said it chose its own playlist and didn't know why either!!!

Also, when you skip from one track (or folder) it will fade the song rather than abruptly switching, which is quite nice and soothing rather than jarring on the ears...

Apart from that, the colours are great, especially if it is late at night and you don't want it too bright. Good value for money. Good battery life and easy to plug in to PC with the USB stick. Radio ok but not great (like my other MP3 creative zen). Goes out of range easily. Earphones that come with it are fine and dandy.

Also can lock it so it doesn't accidentally switch on or off.

only wish it had accessories like an armband or a docking station. I like to use mine for running so end up stuffing it down my top which gets a bit sweaty to say the least!

    The MP3 Player is fine.

The voice recorder though not too powerful, does not record very well form a distance, if you need this device for recording lectures, seminars etc... then it might not be the best option available.

Nevertheless it is fairly cheap and also kind of easy to use. The body is highly plastic and feels cheaply made, although it does the job (per description) and for this you pay very little anyway, so I would rate this product as just right for it's price.
