I've purchased this case with the hope that the smart cover from apple will still work while it was installed on my iPad 2. However it was just a theory I had which didn't quite as I hopped for. Realising that it was such waist and since I love the smart cover so much and wasn't about to toss either covers away (smart and this silicone) I've decided to take a dive and try to customise this case..!!?
So what I did was simply made a small calculated cut out for where the smart cover fix itself to the iPad 2. And the results where phenomenal. AMAZING. The two agree with each other so well now that I am planning on buying another as sooner as the the supplier gets more in stock.
I'll also try to post pictures to this case of the improvements I've made. If you don't see them, just keep checking this review cause in on an iPad now and need to be in my mac to upload pictures :)

Subject says it all really. I got this for my black iPad 2, and it looks great. The fit is very good (took a little persuasion to fit it), and it's very slim. For the price, you can't get better than this. In fact, even for a higher price, I'd question if you can get better, assuming you want this type of case. I only wish it would work with the Apple smart cover...

When I bought this I thought it would be cheap and useless considering the price, but I just needed something temporary until I could afford a better case. This is why I'm so surprised that not only does it look good, it's also well-made and feels great too.
I really love the feel of this case, as the slightly textured rubber is easy to hold and doesn't slip easily; the semi-transparent appearance also looks really good with my black iPad 2. The edges and back all feel well protected, and edge of the rubber folds very slightly onto the front, so it gives protection around the front too (without making it look bad).
Great product, I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect fit and great value for money
Playing games on the ipad2 for a prolonged period can hurt the palms of your hand due to the device's sharp edges (which must surely go down as an apple design flaw?). Read more
