Bought this because I was going in to hospital for treatment which involved lying flat on my back for 4-6 hours, and I wanted to be able to read books on my HTC Desire. This charged my phone twice during this period and was still showing 2 out of 3 bars at the end of the day! In a similar experience a few weeks ago(without it)I went through 2 batteries and still had to resort to my backup paper book before the end of the day! This little gadget is BRILLIANT and I intend to take it with me anytime I go on holiday from now on. I love my Desire but, let's be honest, the battery life is not great and this power pack, I believe, is a far more efficient answer than thicker/larger capacity batteries. It takes up little space and comes with enough adapters to fit just about any phone you wish to try. It also charged the Desire very fast indeed when the phone was switched off and even when reading a book on it (although much more slowly). Highly recommended!

Eix did not respond rapidly enough IMHO
They require you to send it back to be checked and then if they agree its not working (what an insult) they refund or replace. I have asked all along for a refund.

This Powerpack is great if you want to charge you iphone or ipad or other mobile devices but not so good when it comes to other things, i got this to charge my PSP 1000 model but found out the model i have wont charge through the mini USB port, fair enough i thought then i tried to charge my Nintendo DS i found that the USB nib that comes with the powerpack does not fit the DS nor does it fit my Samsung camera so cannot charge them on the go, i did however get an extra PSP link and charge cable for £2 that does work with the powerpack and will charge the PSP so all was not lost, all in all its a great product and does work really well.
