Expectations good as previous reviews rated this case highly but due to price bit wary of what to expect. If you prefer a solid cover which protects the Ipad 2 then this is the product to buy. After spending all that money on the Ipad the one thing you must do is ensure it is well looked after and personally the reviews and the product which Apple sell for the Ipad2 looks and apparently is very flimsy and not designed to protect.
The only thing I would change is the colour and this is personal because I chose the dark blue and it is quite easy to mislay and get lost. Usually I pick brighter colours but as I didn't want pink the colour I went for was the navy blue!
Overall very good product which I have no hesitation in recommending.

I was very reluctant to trust my iPad 2 to a case that cost just [] (how good could it be, I thought), but it is absolutely brilliant. I haven't had to remove the iPad at all since putting it in the case. It fits snugly, the holes for the cameras and switches are perfectly aligned, and there is sufficient edge protection all the way around. The stitching is very sturdy and the upright position holds the iPad at just the right position for hands-free reading. The magnetic sleep/wake sensor feature works perfectly.
All this said, for the leather lovers out there, I'm quite sure that the case is not genuine leather, but that's actually one more feature in its favour in my view. It doesn't seem cheap or shoddy in any way, I think it's going to last a good long while. I also appreciated that there were colour choices other than black. I believe this one is available in brown, purple and pink in addition to the blue and black models.

This does exactly the same as Apple's cover by putting the Ipad to sleep with the magnet system. It also feels more robust than Apple's proprietary cover which is a bit too thin for my liking aside from being grossly expensive. The colour is great and makes the Ipad look like a book so very discrete. Well recommended for the price.
