I chose this cover basically because of the great price & the lovely colour. I'm impressed with the quality, although there are some differences from the images shown:
- The clasp closes on the back on the cover, not the front (This does have the benefit of meaning that the clasp doesn't get in the way of the Kindle screen)
- There are a lot of "Credit card" type pockets inside the front cover. My initial thought was to wonder why these would be of any use in a book over, but as another reviewer has pointed out, it could be useful for a few cards / cash for a day at the beach.
The Kindle 3 fits in the case perfectly, and doesn't move around at all (which is pretty impressive considering that it's held by two fixed corners, and 2 with elastic). It's neither too tight nor too loose, and is easy to put in and out.
The cover seems to protect the Kindle 3 well. Nothing seems to apply pressure to the screen, and there is good protection around the edge.
This case also came with a screen protector, and screen cleaner cloth. Although I planned on using the screen protector (why not, after all I want to protect my treasured Kindle), the surface is FAR too reflective, so as soon as I applied it, the screen was almost like a mirror. In my opinion, applying something so reflective defeats the whole point of the excellent "paper like" e-ink Kindle screen.
Overall, a great product, but the photos could do with updating so as to cause no confusion as to the exact product that is actually being sold.

This is a lovely accessory for my new kindle. Its very sturdy and holds the kindle in place extremely well with four straps for each corner so there is no chance of your beloved kindle slipping out when you are using it on a train or out and about.
The colour is a lovely dark purple on the outside and leather , while the inside is a lighter purple colour and feels like it could be suede. It also has a metal popper fastener which is sturdy too. Overall , great little case if they had it in pink i would buy that to!!

Ordered this for my wifes kindle as i have a black one of similar style and wanted her to have a diffrent one.
When it arrived i was initally impressed by the quality of its build. Stitching is tight and neat, the elastic restraining grips are of a decent quality and should last a long time.
It does have a numerous credit card slips and an inner pocket. Not sure about the use of these. The kindle screen can be fragile and if theres something in the pockets the snug fit could cause it to press against the screen. Probably not but it is always a possibility. Someone else suggested if you were at a beach or pool it would allow you to carry credit cards etc without bags but (maybe its a girl thing) i generally prefer a wallet and anyway its not advisable to use the kindle in damp situations.... i digress...
The clasp is the wrong way round. Thats the onlyway to describe it. It goes from the front cover and clasps on the back. This is weird. My one the strap comes from the rear and clips to the front. Mentally it makes sense. Practically it probably makes no diffrence... but it niggles.
Overall. This is a good product, much cheaper than the official counterpart and should serve your kindle well. Its a snug fit,stylich looking and practical.

Kindle Keyboard Case
