Wanted a proper case for the kindle without the price tag of most kindle cases. When I saw this on Amazon, I instantly liked it due to the colour. It arrived very quickly and when I opened it, I found it to feel and look well made and quite sturdy. The kindle fits perfectly and is held securely in place. When closed, the cover does not press on the screen. One slightly odd thing I found was that the clasp hinges from the front ie magnetic closure is on the back of the case rather than the front). This is opposite to the picture and meant that I opened up the case the wrong way round initially. I will probably keep doing that too, since logic (at least mine!) dictates that the closure will be on the front... I saw a review of another case where it seemed to have the same style of closure. It might even have been a different colour of the same case. Anyway, it is a minor issue really. For £10 with free delivery, one cannot complain. This case will protect the kindle and looks and feels great. Okay, it is PU (synthetic) leather, but that is not a real issue. Inside the case where the back of the kindle sits is a nice bit of suede too (or synthetic suede?). That will also help to keep the kindle snug in the case. Does mean that the speakers are obscured, so if you really need to hear them, then this may not be the case for you. I imagine most people will use headphones anyway, so I don't see this as a big issue either.

Overall, this seems like a well made product at a very reasonable price.

The build quality is good. Looks neat and elegant. The covers are thick. They seem to be able to well protect the kindle inside. The size is a perfect fit for the kindle 3. The straps are neither too tight or too loose

Bought this for my Mum's new Kindle- I was going to get a much more expensive one as I thought the cheaper ones would look cheap but she wouldn't hear of it so I ordered this one, delivery was very good even though it had snowed heavily it arrived just when it said it would & I'm actually glad I ordered this one over the others as it looks great, the colour is a nice deep chocolate and the Kindle fits snugly inside & feels secure- my Mum was very pleased with it & I thought it looked very smart- very good value for money!!

Choosing a cover for your Kindle can be a daunting experience faced as you are with a vast array of styles, colours, materials etc etc etc. After considering a number of different types I looked at the teckNet brown book style cover. It seemed to be well made and appeared to be very good value for money. I ordered one and within a matter of days it had been delivered. The build quality is exceptional for a cover at this price. My Kindle sits within it all snug and well protected from the attention of the smaller members of our household including those with waggily tails! The clasp is secure enough to do the job but not so as to present you with a wrestling opportunity each time you want to access the Kindle. All in all a first class product and well worth the money. Brown is a good colour choice.

I was looking for a not-too bulky cover to protect my Kindle 3 while I travel which was nice-enough looking and didn't cover up the portholes. That's what I got. It's robust, the straps holding it in are good for the job and don't get in the way and it is helpful to have a few pockets in the cover for odds and ends -I keep plastic screen covers in the big pocket and my card with contact details in the window pocket. The only thing I don't like is the way that the clasp sticks up and tends to gravitate towards the screen, but that really is a minor point. The thing to recall with this design is that it doesn't give you a back support while reading -but most of the cases that do that are too bulky for my purposes.

Attractive, well made, robust and great value, this covers ticks many boxes, except for one major flaw.

The pockets in the Left hand flap are not usable for credit cards or any other item without substantial risk of scratching the screen. Worse still, when closed, the cover is tight against the screen and even the pockets themselves and their associated stitching are likely to cause scratching to the delicate kindle screen.

On the kindle 4 version of this case (which we also have), the flap is flat and covered in soft material, perfect!

Sadly, this one will be replaced in the next few days.

Bought for my wife as a present to go with her Kindle. Very pleased overall. It does add a little thickness - perhaps making it easier to hold.

My wife doesn't use the cards holder (I am not surprised as I can't see the useful combination there) but I would expect cards to rub against the screen, so perhaps a screen protector could be added if this was the intended function.

Overall her Kindle fits in really snugly - held by 4 simple loops. The magnetic catch keeps it closed too - nice and safe.

This is a better case than the one for my Sony eReader and costs about a third - so recommended!

As a lover of all things technological the Kindle seemed a 'must have' item. We have a holiday home abroad and have run out of book space, so a Kindle purchase was fully justified. My husband borrowed it for a train trip and a second was bought! We both felt that we missed the feeling of holding a book so the leather cover was a great solution. I spent quite a lot of time researcing covers and without a doubt, the Tecknet leather cover was head and shoulders the best value for money. We ordered 2 and have been delighted with them. They feel good to hold, the kindle sits securly in place and they have the advantages of spaces to hold boarding card for flights!
