Portable MP3 player with 1GB solid state (flash) memory, an FM Radio and a USB 2.0 interface. Powered by a standard AAA battery it can run for much longer than most other portable music players (around 22h with an alkaline battery, 15h with a rechargeable NiMH battery). The package includes earphones, a driver disk (only needed for Windows 95 and Windows 98), an USB extension cable, the manual and the warranty card.
Important: The FM radio requires that the earphones are be plugged in to work properly.
This flash pen is marvellous! So easy to use, downloading my music onto the flas drive takes no time at all. the radio function is surprisingly clear, with preset stations.
All in all, I'm thrilled with it!! Even more so because its so cheap!!!
Product is a little bulky and there is one control that could be more ergonomic-it requires v fine motor skills. As with many MP3's, it is not possible to skip whole albums at a time. It is a fairly time consuming job to skip through over 100 songs to the one you want. Instructions translated into english extremely badly. Apart from that though, there is plenty of room and it's good value. You get fm radio and it also takes 1 x AAA battery which I find more versatile than always having to be near a computer to charge USB types.
Initially bought one for my pensioner dad. One of his grandaughters taught him how to use the MP3 player and put some tracks on. I then bought one as I was impressed by its capability. I'm using the FM radio at night though I have to keep the buttons quiet as my wife sleeps. The LCD backlight usefull and cheap battery works great. Getting the hang of the number of times to press the buttons took some getting used to but once going it's fine.
