Davids Clutterbuck and Megginson are well known for their contribution to the field of coaching and mentoring. This book is a highly practical contribution for all coaches and mentors who want to increase their range of techniques. More than a simple laundry list of ideas, this book exemplifies the authors' thoughtful and humanistic approach to learning and development, and places the use of techniques in an effective context. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoy this book. This book can definitely be used as a reference document- you will be able to refine and upgrade your skills on a constant basis. It has a great many practical examples and explanations of how to apply each technique. It provides you with accurate chapter headings to quickly locate specific skillsets and then explains the arena in which they can be used. The book incorporates many methods from varied fields i.e. NLP, psychology, counselling and so your 'skills vocabulary' expands considerably. As the methods given are processes, I have used them successfully with young people and adults alike.
