This is a great book. It is very informative in showing how technical drawings should be done plus it even includes a handy cd that contains the basic technical drawings that you can adapt on Adobe. Good buy!

This book is excellent - gives very comprehensive yet clear instructions how to draw flats accurately and to industry standard using both the traditional method of drawing one half of the garment and tracing it through etc and using a similar process in Adobe Illustrator. Using this approach, your drawings should be that much more accurate and professional looking - helpful for gaining credibility and preventing misunderstandings when dealing with overseas factories (for garment production. Includes examples of main types of garments - useful reference to use as a starting point to develop own designs. Highly recommended.

If your looking for tips on technical drawings, look not further than this book. it is just amazing.
it even comes with a CD with templates and all kinds of useful tips and templates in the book.

I find this book inaccurate, it is not a technical drawing book at all, this due to the fact that almost all the proportions on the sketches are wrong. Read more
