Format:Hardcover
This is one of several Reuters training books for Financial Markets. I own all of them and have to say they are excellent. For anyone looking to start at the begining and understanding the basics of Derivatives, Bond Markets, Equities, Commodities, Hedgings, Puts, going Long, Shorts etc. etc. The books are easily digestible with clear and important point explained with the use of graphs, diagrams and coloured sections. There's review points and the large bold texts and book layout (Landscape rather than Portrait) all help to make the book easy and enjoyable to understand. I can't recommend these books enough. suitable of all levels of reader from A level students right through to day Traders and people joining Financial Institutes for the first time.
One of the best training resources I've read. Buy It.

A must buy for every investor who want to get a grip on all the investor related instruments. I it very easy to read and understand. After finishing the book you will be able to read most charts and understand them like most professionals do. I've also bought Market Wizards and the New Market Wizards of Jack D.Schwager. This books offer the reader 100% fun combined with very useful information.

Great for beginners 11 Jan 2004

Format:Hardcover
This is a great book for beginner investors wanting to get an overview of technical analysis. Although each section doesn't go very in depth into each topic, you will still get a good understanding of how to use the different analysis tools to your advantage. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it is a bit pricy, but still has a lot of good information that is very well presented. The end of chapter quizes and reviews were also helpful.
