Look, if you've bought a technical analysis package and you've paid for a daily data download then you need a book that tells you what you're looking at. This is not a beginner's book but a reference work that lists over 100 trading tools available in common software packages, what they show, how to interpret them, how the calculations are derived and also gives examples of their use. I use it every day.

Their are more than one ways to skin a cat and more ways to make money from the stock market. The secret is to find a method YOUR comfortable with, and stick to trading that way. This book helps you find a method that will help you trade. Covers most technical analysis methods, giving formula's and examples. Great reference book that everyone should own.

This is an excellent introductory book which is organized like a dictionary for technical indicators. This book still leaves out few things the ways it is organized. It could have been split into two sections 1. Stock Indicators 2. Market Indicators. It also leaves out some of the calculation details and some calculations are ambiguous. Overall, it is good reference book on technical indicators. I will recommend to anyone who is interested in technical analysis and would like to have quick-reference book.

This book is really great if you are looking for a glossary or a dictionary of the various technical analysis indicators. However, if you are looking for a book to learn more about those indicators (underlying logic, mathematical explanations, optimization, indicators combinations ...) you may be disappointed.

This book gives an excellent overview of many technical analysis indicators. It does not go into a lot of detail about the indicators which is why it has 4 stars and not 5. However, if you should want more detail on a particular set of indicators then there are many other (far more expensive) books available. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

very comprehensive book summarizing all the major technical indicators, a great start on technical analysis. Readers may find a certain interest on certain indicators, and will need to look at other books, as this book only summarizes them.
