5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent, indespensible reference work 3 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
Look, if you've bought a technical analysis package and you've paid for a daily data download then you need a book that tells you what you're looking at. This is not a beginner's book but a reference work that lists over 100 trading tools available in common software packages, what they show, how to interpret them, how the calculations are derived and also gives examples of their use. I use it every day.

This book is really great if you are looking for a glossary or a dictionary of the various technical analysis indicators. However, if you are looking for a book to learn more about those indicators (underlying logic, mathematical explanations, optimization, indicators combinations ...) you may be disappointed.
