Product Description

The Teales live in a bright, cosy burrow
By a sycamore tree in Foxaway Hollow
Their home was a happy one except for one thing...
They'd no baby bunny and the joy that would bring

This is a heartwarming story about how the Teazles adopted a little baby bunny. BAAF has long been asked for a book on adoption suitable for very young children, and we're delighted to make one available at last.

This is a beautiful rhyming story that tells how mummy & daddy rabbit didn't have a baby and McBadger found them a baby. It tells of their joy and how they prepared their home ready to welcome their little one. It is told beautifully and it was lovely to find a book that tells the excitement of the parents waiting and preparing for their child.
My 3 year old daughter loves this book and she now has a little bit more understanding that she was wanted by us and not just given to us.
A very good find, actually an Amazon recommendation - Well done Amazon!!! This has made a fantastic addition to our collection of books covering adoption for our daughter.

This would also make a wonderful gift for a child going home with their new parents.

This is a delight to read to children whether or not you are involved with adoption. It is an excellent way of introducing small children to the idea of adoption and the idea of families being formed in different ways. It also reinforces to any child how precious they are to their parents. My small children love stories written in rhyme like this as they quickly learn the words and can fill in the gaps. I would recommend this to anyone with young children.

Excellent book to introduce the concept of Adoption to a young child. The pictures are nice and clean looking and the rhyme sytle makes it easy to read, our son is able to tell us the story from the pictures - he loves it.

I would really recommend this book....
