So much thrill and spills, tears, laughter and joy. Immensely invigorating, excellent story telling. Can't wait for the third book, looking forward to it with my heart in my hand. Can't wait for the conclusion.

Did not enjoy this as much as the first book. the middle of the book dragged, too much detail about some things and interesting points not expanded. Also as so many of the names are similar was a bit confusing at times.
Then after the long drawn out stuff in the middle the end felt very rushed and shortened.
Will get the final book in this trilogy when it comes out and just hope it improves on this or it wont be finished

Very few authors start a new series or debut and get it so right as Trosper has. The magic and the story, isn't new, but he has used it in a way that makes it all his own, and he definitely rules the roost.

Definitely a book to have in your Kindle.

After just a few sentences I was reminded of how much I loved the first Dragon's Call book and, apologies for the cliché, but it really was like slipping on an old glove. As I was hoping, the sequel expands on the first book, going into even more depth about the relationship between the riders and their dragons and the world as a whole.

I particularly loved the insight into the treatment and perception of women; it truly is an escape from our accepted reality and it is nice to see the world as it could be through Trosper's eyes. As expected Tears is a highly detailed novel and it is clear that Trosper knows the world and its characters inside and out. It is certainly a safe place to get lost in, despite the turmoil within the story.
