4.0 out of 5 stars Tears of the Night Sky is a must read !! 14 Feb 1999
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I really enjoyed this book. It takes place during the Chaos War and let's us know of what became of Crysania. Ever since the Legends trilogy I have loved Crysania. Dalamar was always an interesting character and I've come to like Valin the white robe mage. It ties in very well with Dragons of Summer Flame. Plus it explains about Crysania's companion, the white tiger Tandar. This book has great characters but is a little slow moving. It was also too short. But all in all, I recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was left incomplete 9 April 1999
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This book is about Cysania, the Revrend daughter of Paladin. In Panthanas, where she lives, there is a huge drought. She is the religous leader of the city and she has been telling the citizens of Panthanas that the gods do stuff for a reason and that Paladin(the god goodness and light) would never turn his back on them, but even she is starting to get worried. She hasn't felt him near her for a long time. One day Dalmar the Dark gave her two stone called Dragon stones. One of them gives of a dark presence, the other feels like Paladin... Dalmar tells her that she if she gets the other three stones she can speak the gods directy. But the other stone are Neraka the darkest city in all of Krynn(I think).

The thing that is missing is that Dalmar say he has to go the burning sea but after that they don't tell what happens to him. Other wise it was very intersting.

4.0 out of 5 stars The best Chaos War Novel yet
I'm not usually a great fan of the non- Weis and Hickman novels in the series, but this is the first one to actually say anything interesting about the characters. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad
This book seemed kind of plain to me. Nothing exciting really happens even though Crysania makes a journey to Neraka. The Irda, written by Linda Baker alone, was much better.

3.0 out of 5 stars A short love story padded out, no thrills but enjoyable
This is more like a romance novel than your usual dragonlance novel. Although it cerainly isn't a bad book I wouldn't consider it essentioal reading, for serious fan's only.
