I bought this pendant as the most inexpensive piece in a series of gifts for my mother's 80-years birthday.
I was looking for something elegant, unusual, that she could wear everyday and that was not to be compared to any of the really expensive jewellery she already has (and never wears, by the way, for personal safety...).
I was also specifically looking for an amber pendant, since amber is, in my opinion, a nice, inexpensive, underestimated rare material that can embellish all sorts of jewellery, without looking cheap or unfashionable.
So, finally I found this pendant, and even if it was not really valuable, it looked really classy and was not too small (quite often jewellery pieces turn out to be much smaller than they look in pictures, unfortunately...): the dimensions were clearly stated in the description, and the pendant (_including_ the silver connection rings above it) is approximately 3.5 cm in height.
As a matter of fact, this little "gem" turned out to be a real success: my mother loves it, even more than other more costly items I gave her at the same time... It looks nice on everything, due to the elegant silver-amber colour combination, and, most of all, even if it is VERY delicate, it definitely looks more costly than it is!
The dimensions are perfect, not too big and not too small either, and the style is so minimalist that it is ageless.
Only con I found: the curb is SO thin, that it gives the impression that it might break by just watching at it... but luckily you can replace it with whatever you like!
The square package box is also very nice, more elgant than many others, and larger than you would expect, allowing to display the pendant nicely inside it.
Extremely recommended, if you want to make a good impression spending _very_ little. A proof that good things do not need to be necessarily expensive, and often come in small packages indeed...
