Tea temple: 1 per person. HOT: infused with water at 80 degrees C. (If you don't have a fancy kettle or thermometer to hand, grabbing the kettle just before it boils will do the job). Whole leaves take longer to brew, but the little wait is definitely worth it. Au natural - glass teapot, jasmine pearls, add water and relax. ICED: Just cover one tea temple with boiling water and infuse for 3 minutes. Remove temple and top-up glass with iced water.

Jasmine Pearls green tea from Teapigs is a very delicate green tea with a light, floral, refreshing, natural jasmine taste. It's a good choice if you're feeling in need of relaxation and detox. Like all teas, this is bursting with antioxidants - the good guys that help keep us young and healthy! Try it simply brewed at 80 degrees C. (If you don't have a fancy kettle or thermometer to hand, grabbing the kettle just before it boils will do the job!)
These tea temples house lovely little pearls of hand-rolled green tea tips which have been delicately infused with pure jasmine flowers. The leaves are just allowed to rest amongst the flowers to pick up their floral scent - jasmine tea doesn't get any purer than this. Once you cover with water, the leaves will unfurl from the hand-rolled pearl to reveal a whole leaf and a bud - surprisingly hypnotic viewing we think! These particular pearls are often called "dragon phoenix pearls" – that’s because the tea bushes on the hillside look like a dragon coming out of the water. Although I've seen these bushes climbing the hillside I've yet to see a dragon getting out of a bath, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of this claim, unfortunately!
