This book is easy to read and has some really fun games that can be used in the office or at any Social Event. The games are easy to follow and would be suitable for many ages. It starts off with "getting to know you" games which involves finding out about other people in the team ie. names, hobbies, likes etc... It then follows on with actual games that involve having to build or create something. This book is in constant use at my office and everyone has felt something posotive from using it.
I've only had chance to flick through it so far. However, with resources of merit this always leads to me spending more time looking through the ideas. There seem to be far too many airy fairy activities that I and a couple of mates could dream up over a couple of pints. Doesn't strike me as very practical nor a resource I will call on. Buy Quick Team-building Activities for Busy Managers: 50 Exercises That Get Results in Just 15 Minutes ~Brian Cole Miller instead - leaps and bounds ahead.
I bought this years ago, and it is still being used on a regular basis. I often tweak the ideas to meet the needs of the groups I am working with, and I suspect many of the activities I will never use . . .but this is a fabulous starting place and I find it a lot quicker to refer to this book then trawl through the internet.
